You can achieve it!

No matter what it is that you want, you can achieve it.  I was thinking about this some more the other day and it dawned on my that we really can have whatever we want.  There is no limit to what the universe can bring to us.  If anyone else has been able to be, do or have something then we can have it too.  Anything is possible.

I think the problem lies in our own beliefs and actions.  Sometimes we really want something but don't believe we can have it or deserve it.  Maybe we feel like only the smart people or only the beautiful people deserve it.  That simply isn't true.

Other times we just don't stick with it long enough to see the fruits of our thoughts and labors.  I know this has happened to me before, on more than one occasion.  I get started on a project and then something happens to discourage me and I give up and start something new.  I didn't even give the first idea a chance.

I have learned from this lesson.  I now have two primary projects that I am working on and will continue to do so until I see the fruit I am looking for.

Take a look at your own life.  Have there been times when you gave up too soon?  Have you had the thoughts that you don't deserve to be wealthy or to be with the perfect mate.  Only you can change those thoughts.  Begin right now where you are.  Take note of the circumstances in your life so you can refer back to them a year from now.

You can achieve it!

Expecting a Miracle

When we were in Kansas City a couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of having dinner with John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing fame along with his wife and a dozen other people there for the weekend to learn to be Authorized Duct Tape Marketing Coaches.

One of the things that John said at dinner was that every day when he wakes up he expects a miracle.  That has stuck in my mind since I heard it.  It is a fantastic way to look at life.  It sets in motion the Law of Attraction and actually brings about the miracle that you are expecting.

Since we got back I have been focusing on this thought each morning - "God, what kind of miracle do you have for me today?"

Let me tell you that he hasn't let me down.  Each day something has happened that I totally didn't expect.  People are calling me out of the blue to buy software.  Deals that I thought were dead came back to life.  People are calling for upgrades each and every day.  All of this in a time that is traditionally pretty slow in our industry.

Try it for yourself.  Wake up each day expecting a miracle and when something happens be sure and write it down and give thanks for it.  You have just experienced a miracle!

Have an awesome day!

Giving For The Sake Of Giving

Ann and I had a pretty good discussion last night on the topic of giving.  My stance is that I like to give regardless of whether that person gives back in any way.  We have been blessed with abundance and I really enjoy giving gifts, taking people to dinner, taking friends to a ball game, etc.  The feelings I have are my payback.  I don't really expect anything in return except a little respect and friendship.

Ann is with me part of the way on that but she gets frustrated when we continually give to people who neither give appreciation in return or make any attempt to reciprocate.  They talk big but when it comes down to it, they don't do anything.

Ann's stance is that she gives to enhance the relationship.  However, when she does that she expects to receive in return.

I believe that we don't necessarily receive from the same place or entity that we give to, but that the Universe will ultimately balance everyone's account accordingly.  Not only that, I believe that we will receive 10 times more than we give.  So there is no such thing as giving too much.

Let me know what you think.

8 Practices to Better Manifestation

This morning I read a post over at StevePavlina.com called Disciplining Your Mind to Become Better at Manifesting.  In this article Steve explains eight practices he uses to control his mind and improve his ability to manifest the desires of his heart.  Take a minute to read the article now.  He is much better at explaining these practices than I could be.

Steve is clearly a student of the Law of Attraction.  Many of his thoughts and practices appear to be directly related to those of Abraham-Hicks.  As I have mentioned before, my wife and I learned of Abraham-Hicks about a year ago and it has transformed our lives.  We have improved relationships, made more money, and improved our health all as a result of focusing our attention on the things we want and not on the things we don't want.

Take some time right now to go read Steve's article.  It really can change your life.

Focus on one thing and do it well.

It became painfully obvious to me last week that I have too many balls in the air right now.  Although I enjoy doing all of the things I do, I realize that I just can't do them all and do them well.

It's important to ask yourself from time to time if what you are doing is getting you the results you desire.  If not, it's time to make some changes.

So, instead of having all the balls go tumbling to the ground, I am just going to gently lay some of them down.  The projects I am going to set aside for now are this Prosperity blog, the Daily Choices blog and The Prosperous Times Newsletter.

From this point forward I am actually going to focus on two things, my job as a software salesperson and our latest project, Holistic Healthcare Marketing Specialists, a marketing company we created to help providers of Complementary and Alternative Medicine promote their services.

I know that I will never realize the long-term wealth that I desire working for someone else.  I believe that the best way to achieve great wealth is to own your own company, whatever your field of expertise.  I know the owner of the company I work for realizes that too.

I will keep the blogs online because I really do want to get back to them and I may post from time to time on the Prosperity blog, but I'm not going to pressure myself to do it.

I want to thank each and every one of you for reading and I wish you every success you can imagine!

Have an awesome day!

As we prepare to get back into presenting our Wealth Creation Workshop and other classes I am reminded that there are fundamental principles that need to be observed in order to establish any meaningful level of wealth.  These principles are encompassed in The Five Account System that our web site, this blog, and our newsletter, The Prosperous Times are based on.

This month in The Prosperous Times we will take a close look at The Five Account System and how it works.  If you would like to subscribe, click here.  We only send one email a month at the beginning of the month, so you won't be inundated with emails from us and we will never share your information.  So, sign up today and have the principles of building wealth delivered to your inbox each month.

Focus on the Good in People

Today's post is also on our Daily Choices blog today.  It is so good that I want to make sure that as many people as possible see it.

It is a proven fact that you get what you are focused on.  This is based on the Law of Attraction.  Whatever you focus your attention on is what you will attract to yourself.

This is especially true when it comes to other people.  When you focus on the good and pleasant qualities in a person, that is what you will experience.  If you focus on the bad qualities in a person, that is what you will experience.

Try it for yourself.  Concentrate today on only the qualities that you like in a person and ignore the bad qualities and see if that person doesn't treat you just a little bit better.

A Technique for Getting Anything You Want

Dream_board1I told you yesterday that I had a technique for you to use to get anything you want and desire.  It is called a "Dream Board".  The picture to the left is Ann's "Dream Board".  The picture is not that great, but you get the idea.

The "Dream Board" is very easy to create.  All you need is a piece of cardboard or poster board.  Then you will go through your favorite magazines and cut out pictures of the things you like and paste them to the board.  If you want to have a beautiful, fully decorated home then cut out pictures that match what you desire.  If you want to have a wonderful, happy relationship then cut out pictures of people who are having a good time and enjoying themselves.  If you want to be slim and trim, then cut out pictures of people who are fit and active and enjoying themselves.

Once you have created your own "Dream Board" put it where you can see it every day.  Sit for just a few minutes and imagine what life will be like when you have everything you dream of.  Before long those things will start to appear in your life.

Have an awesome day!

Keep Your Eyes on the Prize

What is it that you are working toward?  Are you a college student working toward a degree?  Are you working to be financially independent?  Are you dieting to get to a certain weight?

Don't get discouraged.  Keep your eyes focused squarely on the goal that you have set for yourself.

If you have a goal in mind but are having trouble imagining it, then break it down into smaller, more achievable goals and focus on those each step of the way.

You have to be able to connect with your goal in some way in order to fully realize it.

Tomorrow I will share with you a technique that Ann and I have both used to success.

Have a great day!

Keeping Resolutions

By this time each year more than a few people have either slipped up or completely abandoned their New Year's Resolutions.

There are, however, quite a few people in my neck of the woods who are still at it.  Especially those who have decided to et healthier this year.  I know this because I work out at the new LA Fitness in Frisco and it is getting very crowded.

They have only been open since October, so this crowd could have something to do with their marketing methods as well.

I digress a little bit because this post is not about working out or marketing, it's about keeping those New Year's Resolutions that we are so quick to set.

The reason I believe most people fail to keep their resolutions is because they set unrealistic goals for themselves.  Now, there is nothing wrong with setting big goals, but what I have found is that my chances of staying with a particular plan or continuing to work on a particular goal are improved if I will make small adjustments in the beginning instead of trying to do it all at once.

The important thing to remember is to make small adjustments that you can live with.  Don't try to make giant leaps, you will fall down trying and it gets harder each time to get back up.

In case you haven't noticed yet, we have started a new blog called Daily Choices with the intention of helping you improve all aspects of your life a little bit at a time.  Check it out now and subscribe to the feed.

Have a great day!
